Review by hotel critic
Stepping into Equatorial Hotel, I was enveloped in a sense of calm, a welcoming haven after bustling days exploring Shanghai's urban maze. The staff, with their proficient English and warm demeanor, reflected a consistent hospitality standard that made my stay notably pleasant. Conveniently positioned near the metro, reaching the city's iconic spots like Nanjing Road was effortless, allowing for seamless exploration. While the gym left something to be desired in terms of cleanliness, the spa beckoned with promises of relaxation. Indulging in a pampering treatment amidst the tranquil garden setting felt like a rejuvenating escape from the city's constant buzz. The hotel's wellness area, including the indoor pool and fitness suite, offered a well-rounded experience for guests seeking both serenity and activity.Equatorial Hotel, with its serene ambiance and strategic location, provided the ideal retreat for unwinding after days of immersive city ventures. For travelers seeking a harmonious blend of urban access and tranquil respite, this hotel certainly merits consideration. Staying true to my Shanghai routine, Equatorial remains a reliable choice for future retreats.
